So the word on the interweb is that Mariah Carey is preggers! After some crazy Googling and detective work, I Iearned there’s more to this story.  Seems that Mimi wasn’t walking out of just any “ob/gyn office on North Crescent Boulevard” holding a sonogram, but was coming from  3D Sonography Center of Beverly Hills on North Crescent Drive.   3D Sono is the home of Robert Gergely, M.D., a graduate of Tel Aviv University and inventor of an in-vitro fertilization technique.  Gergely’s “Maximal Implantation Potential (MIP) Point” has a tremendous success rate and reduces the possibility of multiple births.

It makes a whole lot of sense that 38 year old Mariah would have to seek the help of a fertility specialist -  those eggs start to disintegrate after a while.  Just ask 38 year old Minnie Driver, who used the same Doc last year and successfully popped out a single baby boy this past  September.  Clearly Brad and Angelina are using a different doctor.

Yes, I know Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are not Jewish, but who cares!  They named their baby boy, Bronx.  What?  Fresh on the heels of this news I called My CUZ, born and raised in THE BRONX for her reaction.

First of all it’s THE Bronx and if they don’t know that they have no business naming their kid that.  Second, of all we call it the “Boogie Down” and if that is what they want their kid known as then good for them.

Furthermore, my step-father a native of Pelham Parkway, wondered if Ashlee or Pete even knew the true meaning of The Bronx Cheer.  He figured those goys from the midwest probably thought it was a loud cheer of Yankee support rather than a go f**k yourself cry of contempt.  In any event, Mazel Tov Ashlee and Pete.

Adam Sandler’s once Shiksa now  Jew wife, Jackie, popped out a new baby girl, Sunny Madeline, last week.  The funny man, who’s Hannukah Song is the inspiration behind Jewssip,  joked about his wife’s pregnancy on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and how he explained the news to his first born, Sadie -

“My little daughter is always looking at her and is nervous to see her mom sick like that. So I had I try to relax my daughter, just saying, ‘Mommy’s not like bad sick. She just has something growing in her that’s eventually gonna shoot out her vagina and take half your toys.’ “

Lisa Bonet told People magazine that she’s getting ready to pop another kiddie out.

“I’m seven months and I feel great,” says Bonet, “I’ve had a tremendous amount of energy, which is lucky, because I have a 14-month-old.”

While Zoe Kravitz, Lisa’s 19 year-old with ex- Lenny Kravitz is technically a half Jew (right Lenny’s 1/2 and Lisa’s 1/2), Lisa’s new little ones are only 1/4 - but you know what?  It’s still Jew enough for me.

Mazel Tov Gavin and Gwen on Baby # 2 – a boy named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale – at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.  Way to go Gwen, we always new you had it in you!

So how long will it take Gwen to loose the baby weight?  Can she beat Nicole Kidman’s record time of two weeks and be thin for the bris?  Or will she find herself training for a triathlon like J-Lo?   Tick Tock, it’s been 12 hours Gwen, Hollywood is waiting!
