Topic: Drugs

Today I have discovered my favorite Facebook group other than Jewssip —the  Jewish Stoners Union.  This group uses Gematria - assigning numerical values to letters ie A = 1, B = 2 - to unlock the mysterious origins of 420.  Surprisingly the police radio code, California penal code and even Jim Morrison’s death are simply pothead urban legends that have nothing to do with 420. Thanks to the  Jewish Stoners Union we now have the answer…

The word for smoke in Hebrew is Ashan (Ayin Shin Nun). Ayin is 70, Shin is 300, and Nun is 50. 70 + 300 + 50 = 420!!

I wonder if Madonna and A-Rod used gematria (Kabbalah is all about it) to decide to only look for a love nest between Fifth and Park, from 60th Street through the 80s.

Sounds like Blake Fielder-Civil is turning away from the self-destruction of his addiction as he blazes to Step 4 and makes a searching and fearless moral inventory of himself as he shoots through the Big 12.

“I was old enough to know better. Heroin and crack took hold of me and f***** me up,” he said.

“It made me not look out for the woman that I love more than anyone else in the world.”

“Crack is the nastiest drug. It makes you paranoid, unreasonable, edgy and totally suspicious of everyone. And you can get hooked on it straight away. But I was weak and an addict and I let Amy take some. I didn’t stop it from happening. For that I take full responsibility. It became something we did as well as heroin. And then our lives fell apart.”

Lets hope Amy Winehouse will soon learn that the steps work if you work it.

Check out this episode of A&E’s Intervention about Alyson, a former White House intern who destroyed her life after getting hooked on drugs and Ritchie, a boy from college who showed her how to be an addict. (This is one of my fav Interventions)>>>

It was her party and Amy Winehouse was going to cry if she wanted too.  It seems that reality finally set in on the drug addicted singer as she looked in the mirror while getting ready to go to her 25th Birthday Party and realized how ugly she had become.

“She kept saying she was ugly and was in an awful state. They couldn’t get her out.

“Remi had organised the night and made a huge effort. They had a huge row.

“Amy can be very selfish — there was no convincing her and she ruined the night for everyone, including herself.”

But it was Amy’s mum Janis — walking with the aid of a walking stick — who took the singer’s no show the hardest, breaking down in tears when she realised her troubled daughter wouldn’t be turning up. - The Sun

Poor thing!  It’s time for a little AE Intervention - can you imagine the ratings?

What there’s more to know than she took too many drugs? A close pal revealed the truth behind Amy Winehouse’s two overdoses to The Sun -

“She had smoked an inhuman amount of hash which resulted in acute cannabis poisoning. You have to take a s***load of pot to to suffer that severe reaction.”  (Medics are worried Amy’s brain was damaged by the cannabis overdose)

“It is thought she had been smoking it for 36 hours.”

“Amy’s fits were as bad as the convulsions she had during her overdose in August last year (cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, ketamine and crystal meth).”

Smoking for 36 hours straight sounds impressive, but gives us little to go on in terms of the real story. How much did she smoke? Enquiring minds want to know” how many pounds, but since it’s the UK it would have been grams. Was it shwag? Or we talking about some super fine Pineapple Express? Was she taking bong hits? Or smoking spliffs? These are the details that this story needs - I’m unimpressed with the Sun’s exclusive.  How else will the rest of us avoid smoking ourselves dumb?

Corey Haim is using again. Click here to watch Cory lose it and to hear him snort something while the cameras from his A&E reality show are off but (he forgot) the sound mic was still on. Though it would be nice if Cory was clearing his nasal passages, my money is not on the Afrin but on some nice Bolivian powder.
