Hollywood no longer whispers when it talks about the Big C.  Stars came out in full force to raise money at the Stand Up To Cancer Telethon on Friday night.  10.3 million viewers watched the hour-long simulcast on ABC, NBC and CBS Friday, but more Americans watched  “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader”and “Smackdown” on Fox and CW.  Hopefully, they participated in the virtual stand up by joining the Stand Up To Cancer Facebook group.  After all you don’t have to be smarter than a fifth grader to know that 1500 people are smackdown by cancer each day.

The View’s Elisabeth Hasselback called in to The Larry King Show the other night, while fellow co-host Joy Behar was filling in, to give Fran Drescher a piece of her mind. Earlier in the show, Fran made a crack about Elisabeth’s tears during the N-Word debate on last week’s The View - “What’s with the crying? Is that how she wins battles with her husband?” Of course Elisabeth called in to reprimand Fran - will somebody take that shiksa out!
